My school benefited in the most recent inspections as Edsidera offered the option of dedicated BSO challenges that provided vital evidence in our most recent BSO inspection, assisting in our positive rating. Edsidera also offered the option of bespoke challenges. We found this extremely beneficial as it allowed us to focus on specific areas of the SIP and provide additional evidence to KHDA inspectors, something that they were particularly impressed with. More importantly, the additional and bespoke tasks were well received by the children as they were keen to participate in tasks dedicated to them and no other schools have access to.

Just wanted to share the great news that we have officially begun the Rising and Little Star Awards, and the students are already super excited about participating. The platform has been very easy to use and navigate, making the experience smooth for everyone so far – thank you for that!

The Rising Star Award is fun and full of lots of exciting challenges, some are quite hard and some l was able to do on my own. It has helped me to try to do more things for myself and be a bit more adventurous. I will definitely be doing the next level.

The award helps to facilitate more meaningful interactions at home and challenges learners to me more involved in their homes and in their communities. Our experience so far with the hundreds of learners who have signed up has been amazing. The team is very helpful and the updates regarding coming offerings are very exciting for our community. The additional value added for our school from running workshops to giving display items, special day delivery boxes, you really feel valued as part of the Edsidera community.

This is our second year running the Edsidera Star Award at Mamoura British Academy and we’ve had really positive interest in the award and increased engagement this year with the challenges. Staff get really creative when presenting each challenge to students through a weekly ECA, even coordinating specialist teachers and operation staff to help make the award feel different and memorable. They have developed their cooking skills, learned first aid basics, and even put out their own fire as part of the fire safety challenge. Recently they met with Make a Wish foundation as part of our school-specific volunteering challenge- many students first ever meeting! We’ve had lots of support from the Edsidera team and would recommend any other school looking to enrich their provision further through the award.
